Detailed Workshop Description
Integral Remote Viewing
This uniquely powerful spiritual technique produces extremely moving, transformative experiences generated from remote viewing spiritual and therapeutic “targets”.
This process promises to be a unique and major new spiritual discipline
and therapeutic process.
Description:
In this workshop Dr Carr will teach techniques for directly experiencing spiritual “targets” such as the Christ, the Buddha, God, individual souls, the Self, the future self, the unconscious, the mind, the nature of reality, and spiritual-emotional processes surrounding birth & death.
.Viewers often have in-depth, life
changing experiences relating to
these marvelous targets! By
“viewing” these targets directly and
“blindly” one
transcends belief, symbolism, and dogma.
Participants learn that remote viewing the
spirit, heart, mind and
body of one's self and of others can
uniquely facilitate their personal
growth, psychotherapeutic processes, self-awareness, insight, compassion,
empathy, and communication, as well as physical healing.
These reported moving experiences appear to have
enduring positive effects that can be
felt years later. Participants often
report a sense of being “opened up”, moved, or validated, with a change in
perspective or a change in their inner sense of being. Even viewers
well-practiced in other spiritual
disciplines often have uniquely intense experiences including
deep tears of joy or even
intoxication with bliss.
This intensity and
purity of experience is possible
because remote viewing include safeguards to inhibit
contamination and
inhibition of one’s experience by the
filters of one’s own beliefs, thoughts, memories, fears, expectations, and
imagination. Integral Remote Viewing asks the question: “Can you perceive with
clear intent what
cannot be
thought,
remembered, or
imagined?”
Integral Remote Viewing
has taken the ancient ability we were all born with and honed it, through years
of research, to new and unexpected levels that can go well beyond
astral projection or
shamanic journeying and many other
disciplines. It makes the greatest
masters, the most profound experiences, our true nature, and the most important
information directly available to us
all without books or “middlemen”. ("Know
what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to
you. For there is nothing hidden that won't be revealed."
Jesus: Gospel of Thomas.)
It has also been said: “only the blind need to
believe in light”; when you remote
view you can actually see the light
instead of just believing in it. This is
empowerment at its deepest level.
What You Do in a one-hour
Remote Viewing Session:
A remote viewing session can be thought of as an
attentional discipline where one
learns to focus a subtle “dance” of
attention and intention. When one
focuses on a spiritual target, remote
viewing becomes a powerful spiritual
discipline. When one focuses on a
therapeutic target, remote viewing becomes a powerful
therapeutic modality. One
begins the session by quieting ones
mind. Out of this space and
quietness of mind, one forms a
crystal clear intention to move to
the remote viewing “target” location, person, or event. (Keep in mind the viewer
is not told who or what they
are viewing until after the session.)
At the point of clear intention, one
begins to get sensory impressions about the “target”.
One then proceeds to follow a
specific detailed procedure involving five to six major
phases. This procedure has a definite
structure,
pacing, and
sequence which involve the employment
of specific techniques designed for each phase. By providing detailed structure
and pacing, remote viewing techniques does for
psychic abilities what reading music
does for musical abilities! It is
partly this structure and
pacing that clearly distinguishes and
sets apart remote viewing from other “psychic” techniques. This shows up in
vastly increased purity,
accuracy, and
depth of “interdimensional” contact.
Phase one
of the session, involves the “discharging” of simple “squiggles” (ideograms)
on to paper and “probing” those squiggles for
specific kinds of impressions (e.g.
tastes).
Phase two involves attending to each
of one’s senses individually, as well
as to the dimensions and energetics of the given target.
Phase three involves making full-page
sketches of the target.
Phase four involves the use of the “matrix”
where in-depth remote viewing really
begins.
The matrix involves “probing” with
one’s pen for specific elements in
the “target” such as concepts, emotions, energetics, “interdimensionals”,
senses, etc., at a specific pace.
Often sessions are facilitated by a “monitor”
who skillfully helps the viewer direct their attention to different parts of
their experience in order to achieve maximum target contact. The monitor can
also provide support when strong emotional contact is made.
Phase five
occurs after good “target contact” has been made. It involves the use of
advanced techniques including
something called “movement exercises”
which precisely move the viewer to
specific aspects of the target (e.g.
move “inside the target”, “above the target”,
move to “target activity” or to “one
hour before the target event”).
Movement exercises can be quite sophisticated and are like the rudder of a plane
to steer the viewer where he or she desires to go. (This is in high contrast to
the usual low control in most astral
projection.)
The session usually ends with a detailed
sketch and summary and finally
feedback. It is not uncommon for the sketch and summary to “nail
the target” in almost every way. At this point, the viewer may experience
extreme bi-location or strong sense
of actually being present at the target
location and in the presence of the
people who are part of the target. If
one is at a lake, one can experience oneself swimming or soaking in the cool
waters. (This is an entirely different
experience than just imagining one’s self floating in water. It is much more
real and
actual.
In remote viewing you do not try to
engage your imagination, memory,
thinking, or imagery!)
If one is in the presence of
the Buddha Energy, one can feel gently enfolded within, and permeated by, the
energy, love, compassion, and safety that can go so far beyond words and
previous experience, that one can only break down into tears of relief and joy.
When one “sees” through the eyes of the Buddha or Christ, one experiences
unimaginable compassion and love
toward the world.
Workshop from Start to Finish:
DAY 1:
Brief introductory "go around" and
discussion of needs and desires of the group members.
Basic Principles: Participants are
taught the basic principles of remote
viewing including:
Letting go of needing to be right and
of self-doubt.
The extreme importance of being grounded
and balanced.
Preparing for a session through
meditation.
Letting go of the known and imagined to explore the unknown and
unimaginable.
Allowing a quiet space to open up.
The concept of “no-mind”.
Pre-session affirmation.
The ground of all being.
Remote viewing should spring fourth from a place even deeper than itself. It is
the void, nothing and
everything from which all phenomena spring fourth. It is the
ground of all being. In 1932 Krishnamurti stated: “Gods, masters,
apparitions may exist, but they are of no value to the man who is seeking
truth, for they are still in the
world of phenomena.”
How to focus on the senses.
(Including the sense of presence
and the sense of the actual.)
How to focus intension and pay
attention during the session.
Important perceptual discriminations.
How we "overlay" or “project”
our own ideas and feelings on to the actual intuitive impressions.
The importance of the body as a
receiver of intuitive impressions.
How to use “ideograms”, sketches, and
pencil & hand probes.
How to open the “aperture” or
“window” to the target.
The importance of practicing on “nuts and bolts”, easily verifiable physical
targets (e.g. the
Experiential practice:
The group does its first short target
session together as a group,
out loud, monitored by the
instructor. Out of this a group
consciousness and a group enthusiasm begins to form.
Group members then pair off to do
another short session, one person is the
viewer, and the other person becomes the session
monitor.
During this time, guidance and feedback is given to the paired
participants.Learning the full remote
viewing session:
The basic stages of the full remote
viewing session.
Examples
from several well-done formal session and sketches are gone over.
Using of the remote viewing template.
The importance of staying in structure.
”Stringing” together words and
sentences without thought or
before thought
Learning to allow all the collected “pieces” of the puzzle to
coalesce or fall together.
LUNCH BREAK
Breathing
and body movement exercises are done
to revitalize the participants’ energy after lunch.
Skills practice: participants practice
remote viewing skill:
Remote viewing languaging and pacing.
The use of "ideograms" and the "matrix".
The drawing of sketches using both
right and left hands engaging both hemispheres of the brain.
Group participation in two-minute remote viewing sessions.
First full remote viewing therapeutic
session by participants, led by Dr. Carr
Participants are guided and coached through their first serious therapeutic
session.
After the therapeutic session the group members share their experience with each
other and supportive
feedback is given. (Immediate corrective
feedback is another essential thing that distinguishes remote viewing from
many other disciplines.)
Question-and-answer period followed by a group process to end this day of the
workshop.
DAY 2:
Group "check-in": Individual participants share their current experience as well as their dreams from the previous night.
Lecture
on more advanced spiritual,
therapeutic and medical
techniques:
Practicing the ethics of remote
viewing including the respect for privacy. (“View unto others as you would have
other’s view unto you.”)
Protection
during remote viewing; creating a
sanctuary.
The use of clay to create a model of the “target”.
Body scanning
techniques.
The use of diagrams, anatomy, and acupuncture charts.
The use of "chakra to chakra" energy
and communication techniques.
Temporarily and safely blending with,
or “becoming” the person (or being) being remote viewed.
Walking a few steps, and moving around, in the “target person’s” body.
Safely disconnecting from a target
person and re-grounding.
The process of “surrendering”
during spiritual targets.
Sending as well as receiving energy and information.
The art of monitoring and facilitating target contact.
Paying attention to the “truth buttons”
in one’s own body.
Remote Healing: Using advanced techniques for direct physical and emotional healingDemonstration:
Dr. Carr does a one-on-one, in-depth
demonstration with a selected participant. (Students learn very quickly
through watching a model remote viewing session.)
Advanced Target: Group members pair off to do an advanced
spiritual or therapeutic target under
Dr. Carr’s supervision and guidance. One member of the pair becomes the
“viewer”, the other member becomes the “monitor”. (Roles are then switched for
second session.)
Post session “debriefing” and “re-grounding”
where the group members support each other, as well as share and process their
experiences. Support and feedback are also given. (For example, someone who has
just remote viewed their own birth
may want to be tenderly held for a few minutes.)
LUNCH BREAK
Breathing
and body movement exercises are done
to revitalize the participants’ energy after lunch.
Brief group warm-up target, done out loud, together as a group, led by Dr. Carr.
Engaging the body:
remote viewing as a physical
discipline
Using your body as the ultimate
instrument
for target contact: (How the body, the senses, and the heart can be the “royal
road” to target contact.)
Dr. Carr leads the group through several
final remote viewing sessions involving the remote viewing of a past
event involving
physical, sometimes spiritual
group activity (e.g. whirling
dervishes). These kind of physical activity targets teach the students how to
engage their body movements to find
out about, and experience the target. This also allows group members to function
through a higher group consciousness.
Group members usually have great fun and develop a stronger group
bonding.
During the activity session, once contact has been achieved as a group, the group then begins to physically configure itself according to what is in the target. For example, if the target were whirling dervishes the group members might begin whirling around each other experiencing feelings of religious exhilaration!
If the target was a group of children cheering at a Little League baseball game the group members might begin cheering and jumping up and down together while feeling young, excited, and delighted. If the target were a pod of dolphins swimming together, the group may become involved in an activity involving swimming motions. Group members may playfully swim around each other experiencing the comradery and communication of the pod.
Other activity targets may include Tibetan monks chanting or the wedding of a deeply committed couple. Such targets allow the participants to finish the workshop in a light, uplifted mood.
The workshop ends with a final sharing, discussion, networking for future
practice, hugs, and goodbyes. How to use remote viewing ability in
one’s daily life is discussed. The
importance of continued loving support, contact, and practice is emphasized.
Please note that three-day, four-day, five-day,
and seven day workshops on the same,
as well as different, remote viewing
themes are also available for presentation.
Bio of Dr. Carr:
Dr Carr is the Executive Director of The
Western Institute of Remote Viewing and
The Center for Growth and Healing. He also is a
Licensed Psychologist practicing in
the Seattle Area. Dr. Carr has pioneered
techniques for medical,
spiritual, psychological,
therapeutic, and
group remote viewing since 1997. He
has refined these techniques through teaching
hundreds of workshops and through
working therapeutically with many
individuals & couples as a psychotherapist. A major goal is to apply remote
viewing to many different disciplines and to take it to new levels that will
profoundly effect one’s emotional growth and spiritual development (“Integral
Remote Viewing”).
Dr. Carr also has a strong background in Zen meditation, Krishnamurti,
Neurofeedback, Gestalt Therapy, Primal Therapy, Spiral Dynamics, Eastern
Philosophy, consciousness studies, breathwork, communication skills, and
